Dublin, the capital of Ireland, is the “Mecca” for shoppers. Just have a causal walk along the streets of Dublin and you are bound to damage your pocket Caribbean Properties Two major pedestrian streets – the Grafton Street/Stephen’s Green in the South and Henry Street in the North are densely populated with shopping centers.
Grafton Street:
If you are more of a brand freak or prefer designer tags, then head to Grafton Street. Here you will find the famous Brown Thomas Departmental Store which showcases both local (Harrods-with Irish Elegance) and foreign (Louis Vuitton, Dior and Gucci) designer clothes. Weirs, Dublin’s most exclusive and popular jewelers is also located here. Take a break at the famous Bewley’s Café and head to Wicklow Street, South Great Georges’ street and Dawson Street to enjoy local street shopping. The Powerscourt Towncentre and The Georges’ Street Arcade are worth a visit.
Henry Street:
The Arnotts on Henry Street in the North, is a popular store for clothes and foot wear. You will also find the two prominent shopping centers called the ILAC and the Jervis Street Shopping centre. Along with these, you can also visit Roches Stores Complex- home to more than 20 international brands and the best beauty stores. Moore Street, the well know food market, is full of bargains. O’Connell Street, not much of a shopping place, but has two department stores, The Penny’s and The Cleary’s, so you can just hop around and have a look.
